Biographical Text
Born in 1902 to Edward Craig and Laura Whelen Biddle, Craig Biddle, Jr., attended St. Paul's School and Princeton University and worked with the Army Ordinance Corps in Philadelphia during World War II. He was a sales executive at Dictaphone Corp. for many years, and after retiring in 1957 volunteered for two decades with archaeological programs at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Like his father, Biddle was an avid tennis player and spectator.
