Drexel Family Digital Archive

The Drexel Family Digital Archive explores the context and influence of the Drexel family. This site is a hub for the stories of Drexel family members and the people who surrounded them. The stories are shared using archival material and objects preserved by Drexel University collections with contributions from external repositories.

While the Drexels’ wealth and status derive from the success of the family business, it is their dedicated interest in philanthropy, education, and the arts that defines the legacy of this Philadelphia family.

The Drexel Family Digital Archive was created by the Drexel University Archives with contributions from the Drexel Founding Collection and the Fox Historic Costume Collection. Learn more about the project.
