At the time of interview, Jahnavi Kalyan was a student in the Economics program at Drexel University. In this interview, Jahnavi Kalyan describes the timeline of events from March 2020 to the time of interview. Jahnavi Kalyan shares how perceptions of COVID-19 changed since the beginning of the pandemic. This interview also describes accommodating quickly to COVID-19, including academic adjustments and quarantining. This interview reflects on George Floyd, an African American man killed by police during an arrest, and the following protests and conversations, including health disparities amongst communities of color. Jahnavi Kalyan shares thoughts on Drexel University's response to these issues. This interview also touches on acclimating to the pandemic and steps forward.
