At the time of this interview, Dr. Veronica Carey was the Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Chair for the Board of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions. Dr. Veronica Carey was also an Associate Clinical Professor, with expertise in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. This interview describes how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted Dr. Veronica Carey professionally and personally, touching on social interactions, students, and the inability to travel. Dr. Veronica Carey discusses the transition to teaching online classes, difficulties with distractions, and maintaining engagement. This interview includes recommendations for coping with the pandemic. This interview also shares ways that Dr. Veronica Carey relaxes.
