Biographical Text
Born to Edward Biddle and Emilie Taylor Drexel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He married Rosalie Eugenia Carter Law in 1917, with whom he had two sons, Livingston Biddle, Jr. and Ernest Biddle. Graduated from Princeton in 1900 and was a trustee of the Drexel Institute for many years. He was very interested in the arts and in 1916 published a volume of poetry, "The Understanding Hills".
